How the House is Funded
-
The Ronald McDonald House of Delaware depends on the generosity of the community to provide its services, and strives to be a good steward of donors' funds. Approximately 83% of our revenue comes from individuals, corporations, community groups, special events, and foundations.
-
We are a United Way partner agency and receive funding through individual United Way designations.
-
The Circle of Care is the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware’s annual campaign for unrestricted support of our operating budget. As the number of families staying at the House has grown, so has our need for new and increased sources of annual funding to support our larger operation. The Circle of Care honors the many generous individuals, corporations, and community groups who provide an annual gift of $250 or more in support of the House. Gifts are recognized in the following levels:
Circle of Hope - $25,000 and above
Circle of Optimism - $10,000 - $24,999
Circle of Understanding - $5,000 - $9,999
Circle of Sharing - $2,000 - $4,999
Circle of Endearment - $250 - $1,999
